There's a complex scoring system for each player, but the main goal is for your team to have retrieved the flag the most number of times when the timer runs out.
The goal is to steal the flag of the other team and bring it back to your base. Each team has a base where their flag is kept. Form strategies with other members for effective strikes.ĬAPTURE THE FLAG Capture the Flag is my personal favorite game mode. Since there are teams, there are more opportunities to work like a team. While you still want to kill as many other opposing players as you can, keep in mind that you need to do so in regards to your team.

TEAM FFA Team Free for All is the same as normal free for all, but, obviously, the players are divided into two teams, red and blue. Go for heavy firepower and use your force powers well. Since the enemy is on the lookout for one and only one player, surprising them will be much harder. An observer will take the place of the loser. The winner of the duel will get a point and continue to compete. Pitting one player against one player leads to epic matches with observers watching you fight. However, you always want to be close by to where the Jedi Master dies so that you can snatch up the lightsaber.ĭUEL Duels are one-on-one matches. Set up traps like Detonation Packs in a tunnel and get other players to chase him in. If someone else is the Jedi Master, work with the other players to take him down. Easier said than done, but if you're skillful with your lightsaber (which no one else will have) and force powers, you'll have a distinct advantage over the other players. Of course, the key to winning is becoming Jedi Master and to deal out death to anyone that comes by. So, therefore, other players are encouraged to work as a team to take down the Jedi Master rather than continue to fight each other.

Not only does the Jedi Master get full force powers, they also get the points for any kill that happens while they are the Jedi Master. Whoever finds the lightsaber in the level is deemed the Jedi Master. JEDI MASTER This mode puts a twist on the normal Free for All. Don't focus just on getting good force powers, but rather on the main goal. While force powers are helpful, remember that smart playing and skill is more important. Finding the force cubes (Holocrons) will give you the corresponding force power. The only difference is that you don't start with force powers, but must obtain them like weapons. HOLOCRON FREE FOR ALL Holocron Free for All is similar to normal Free for All. Remember not to hit yourself with explosives, too, though.

Try to go for more powerful weapons, like the Portable Missile System and Imperial Heavy Repeater. If you're interested in blasting others and not in teamwork or more complex goals, this is a good option.

This mode is fairly simple and easy to learn how to play. You're thrown into an arena, and it's your job to find weapons (aside from the Blaster Pistol and lightsaber you start out with) and use them.Įach kill you obtain will give you an extra point. This will allow you some time to get down the basics of the game and get used to some of the force powers.īelow are descriptions and strategies for the different game modes as other information helpful to multiplayer.įREE FOR ALL This is your basic deathmatch. While most of the ways of playing are fairly standard FPS fare, the inclusion of force powers, lightsabers, and the interesting environments makes for a fresh experience.įor first-time players wanting to get into multiplayer, I recommend playing through at least around half of the single player levels first. Fortunately, a fun and challenging multiplayer feature was included with this game.
